We are now hiring for a Driving Instructor:

Company Description:

Raj Auto Driving School Inc.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·        Instruction: Deliver lessons on traffic laws, defensive driving, and proper vehicle handling, including parking, reversing, and navigating intersections including traffic circles/round about.

·        Practical Training: Supervise students during behind-the-wheel practice with a provision of a dual-control vehicle to ensure safety.

·        Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student progress, identify areas for improvement, and inform them when they are ready for the official road test.

·        Safety & Emergency Management: Maintain a calm environment, manage student anxiety, and intervene immediately to take control of the vehicle to prevent collisions.

·        Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate records of lesson attendance, student progress, and any incidents or accidents.

·        Professionalism: Maintain a clean, safe training vehicle, manage schedules, and communicate effectively with clients. 

Key Requirements & Skills:

·         Licensing: Must possess a valid Alberta Driving Instructor's license with clean driving record. 

·         Patience & Communication: Ability to teach diverse learners, including those with anxiety or neurodiverse needs.

·         Knowledge: Thorough understanding of local traffic regulations and safety standards. 

NOTE: 

This is a seasonal contract position which can be converted to full time after evalution of probation period of six months for a Driving Instructor at Raj Auto Driving School Inc. located in Fort McMurray, AB. The Driving Instructor will be responsible for providing behind-the-wheel instruction to new and experienced drivers. The Driving Instructor will create lesson plans, deliver instruction, and assess students' progress. The Driving Instructor will also maintain accurate records and ensure the safety of all students while driving on the road.
